The Maple Leaf

A Maple leaf had fallen from the  Japanese Maple on my front deck when I started this project.  I am always looking to improve on something that you have created.  Here  I was looking for something other than the lily pad basins for the water to flow from.    Picking up one of them, I flattened it and made a copy on paper.  This gave me a template that can be enlarged or shrunk in the future by simply printing it out on the computer.   I also used the leaves attached to the base instead of supports under the base to support the fountain.

Description:  Four copper Maple leaf plants that allow the water to gently flow from small basins in the leaves.  There are two wire trees in the hammered copper base.  The entire fountain, including pump is suspended by copper leaves rolling over the rim of the pot.  This allows easy removal and cleaning of the filter.  The electrical cord is run through the bottom of the pot and sealed with silicone.

Dimensions:  15" Diameter x 14" Tall pot with another 12" fountain height.

All sculptures are unique.  The picture above represents what yours may look like when it is completed especially for you.
